Just a random thought I had. I think I was originally going to turn this into fanart for...something or other. I already forgot. x) Anyway, it's just a teenage girl reading. The cat was an afterthought, but it's SO CUTE. A very annoyed little fuzzball, that kitten is annoyed that the book the girl is reading is apparently more interesting than the ultimate furry cuteness sitting at her side.

I had a lot of trouble with the girl's nose, and I'm afraid that the cat looks almost too realistic next to the girl, who's in a more painterly style. But...I'm getting lazy. Laziness = I might ruin it. It's almost as bad to be lazy as it is to be obsessive about a piece. *shrug* The feet gave me some trouble, but I think I've figured out the lighting and shapes pretty well there. I was really really really pleased with her jeans and the belt...and then I had to go and cover it up with the cat. Heh, oh well. Cuuuuuuute kitty...
